1 Introduction
Taiyuan Education TV Station has been in existence for more than 30 years. Due to various reasons, some equipment has been in use since the establishment of the platform. It can be said that it has reached the coveted year. Although there are some updates, due to the limitations of office buildings, many advanced modern studio equipment have been unable to be installed and used. The contradiction between the new recording requirements and the old equipment has become more and more prominent, which seriously restricts the development of educational television. In 2015, the new building of Taiyuan Education TV Station was completed. We inspected the design of major TV stations and adhered to the principle of “people-oriented technology leadingâ€. According to the actual needs of our station, we developed the recording and broadcasting system of our station.
2. System Overview
According to the functions planned by different floors, we divide the floors into technical and office floors. The technical layer where the recording and broadcasting system is located is set on different floors according to different functions, including a studio system, a non-linear editing system, and a broadcast system. These systems are distributed on different floors to facilitate management and use. In addition, there are 4 channels of OB vans, which expand the recording space of our station.
The design concept and system configuration of the studio system, the broadcast system and the OB van are explained and analyzed below.
2.1 studio system
Our studio system is divided into a comprehensive studio, a panoramic studio and a teaching studio. The teaching studio is a major feature of our platform, which fully reflects the professional characteristics of the education TV station. Here we focus on integrated studios and teaching studios.
2.1.1 Integrated Studio
According to the requirements of the system and the actual situation of our station, a 5 channel integrated studio was built on the 15th floor of the new building, which was mainly used for the recording of small and medium-sized variety shows. In order to save money as much as possible, the HD camera section is only equipped with a set of studio cameras for rocker arms, the remaining 4 cameras are shared with the OB van, and the studio equipment is equipped according to standard studios.
The whole system is based on high-definition digital technology. The configured equipment is mostly imported brands and well-known brand products in the industry. It has good stability, security and reliability, flexible configuration, easy operation and maintenance. In the overall design process, Taking full account of the scalability of the system function, the system maintains an advanced level for a long period of time and leaves room for expansion.
The integrated studio system includes a video system, an audio system, a synchronization system, a call system, a TALLY system, a clock system, a machine room rack system, and the like.
2.1.2 Teaching studio
The teaching studio is a classroom-style studio unique to Taiyuan Education TV. With the continuous improvement of the quality of quality courses and the increasing number of quality courses, the market puts higher demands on the recording and broadcasting system. A redesign was made.

Breaking through the traditional video recording technology used to produce courseware can only record the limitations of teachers and PPTs, realize the simultaneous recording of multiple signals such as teachers, students, PPT, etc., and integrate them into video tutorials that meet the national quality open class.
2. Automatic tracking and shooting of teachers and students without the need for professional photographers.
3. In the absence of professional broadcasters, it is possible to automatically select the video that reflects the key aspects of classroom teaching in multiple channels of video, realize automatic navigation, and generate single-channel video files in real time.
4. It can meet various recording requirements such as multi-stream multi-picture, single-stream multi-picture and so on without using repeated investment.
5. The collected teacher's lens, student lens, PPT and other pictures are clearer and more delicate.
6. It is possible to broadcast the classroom teaching live to the live broadcast inside and outside the school through the network, which is convenient for all kinds of users to watch.
7. It is convenient and quick to post-edit the multi-channel video.
8. Effective post-management of a wide variety of video resources, and through authority authentication, allows authorized users such as students and parents to broadcast teaching videos at any time, and allows multiple users to simultaneously play the same video. Meet the on-demand needs of different users.
Through the above design concepts, our teaching studio has become a major feature of our platform.
2.2 broadcast system
The design goal of Taiyuan Education TV's hard disk broadcast system is to use the database as the media information management center, the video broadcast server as the broadcast terminal, the broadcast control as the centralized control center, and the scheduling of various signals to realize the TV video and audio signal upload. , storage, stable and secure automatic playout system.
The system configuration scheme mainly includes the following parts: video broadcast server (main, backup, secondary, secondary storage, database server) system, broadcast control system, monitoring system, uploading and reviewing workstation, program editing workstation, monitoring Monitoring equipment, sub-control peripheral systems, wireless transmission, UPS uninterruptible power supply, etc. System equipment exchanges information and processes through Gigabit Ethernet. The system can seamlessly expand the secondary storage management system, including the secondary storage management server and the disk array, to expand the near-line storage capacity of the material; the system realizes interconnection and communication with the media asset management system through the Gigabit Ethernet network, and improves the TV broadcast. 2.3 "4+2" channel OB car system
The car is a new model that is modified on the basis of a type of chassis and equipped with corresponding equipment. The main components of the vehicle include chassis modification, roof platform, power supply equipment, audio and video, lighting system, balance support system, air conditioning system, grounding system, control system and other parts.
The OB car system selects SONY OB40 popular high-definition TV OB van, OB40 core equipment selects Sony broadcast and products, peripheral equipment also selects mainstream products of international brands.
The whole vehicle is basically equipped with 4 wired channel cameras. The user can also realize the expansion of 2 wired channels through system reservation. It can be plugged and used during installation without secondary construction.
The OB40 selected this time is equipped with Sony MVS-3000A 2M/E HD video switcher as the core of production to achieve powerful production capabilities; the monitor wall is equipped with 8 Sony LMD-A240 24-inch HD LCD monitors, 2*4 rows, more The screen displays and configures the PVM-A170 17-inch HD OLED monitor as a technical supervisor. The camera selects the HSC-E85RF 16bit HD cable camera. The recorder uses the PMW-1000 HD memory card recorder and multi-channel multi-recording system. Other peripheral equipment also uses cost-effective international mainstream brand products, such as: YAMAHA digital mixer, TEK synchronous machine and oscilloscope, TELEX four-line communication system, CANARE video and audio integrated cable.

The recording and broadcasting system is the core of a TV station. The recording and broadcasting system of our station has been designed and implemented in the early stage. It has been put into use now, meets the requirements of broadcasting and television, and has reached the domestic advanced level. It has solved the long-standing contradiction of our Taiwan and made education. The development of television has entered a new stage.
