Determination of Aloin in Aloe by High Performance Capillary Electrophoresis with Amperometric Detection

Abstract: A high performance capillary electrophoresis amperometric detection method for aloe content in aloe was established. The effects of buffer solution type, concentration, pH, working potential, organic modifier, operating voltage and injection time on the detection were discussed. Na2B4O7-NaOH (Na2B4O7 concentration 30 mmol/L) was used as buffer, working potential was -0.8 V, volume fraction was 2.5% methanol was organic additive, injection time was 10 s, high pressure was separated at 15 kV, pH=9.5 The content of aloin was detected by column end amperometric method under alkaline conditions. The linear range of the method is 50~0.05 mg/L, the linear equation Y=856.2+123.3c, the correlation coefficient r=0.999 4, and the detection limit is 0.01 mg/L.
