KHS GmbH, a leading global manufacturer of filling and packaging systems for the beverage, food, and non-food industries, based in Dortmund, Germany, will showcase its innovative InnoPET Plasmax coating technology at the China International Beverage Industry Technology Exhibition (CBST) from November 4 to 6, 2015. This is the first time KHS is presenting this advanced technology in China, aiming to introduce a modern and stylish packaging solution tailored for both industry and consumer markets.
The InnoPET Plasmax technology combines the health and quality benefits of packaging with the lightweight advantages of PET bottles. By applying an ultra-thin layer of pure glass (silicon oxide) through a plasma process, the coating effectively prevents carbon dioxide, oxygen, and flavor compounds from penetrating the product. This unique approach significantly enhances shelf life, maintains consistent taste, and preserves vitamin content, while also ensuring a clear and visually appealing bottle appearance. The ultra-thin glass layer (<0.1μm) adheres tightly to the PET bottle under all conditions, offering durability and reliability. Additionally, the coated PET bottles are fully recyclable, making them an environmentally friendly choice.

The Plasmax technology has already been successfully implemented worldwide, with numerous plastic bottle and container manufacturers using it to improve product quality and sustainability. It is especially beneficial for products sensitive to environmental factors, such as high-quality beverages and foods.
