Improve the quality of printed products management measures

The quality of printed products is produced and not tested. To control the quality of products in the production process, we must first attach great importance to ideology, start from the source, and focus on prevention. In addition to the industry standards (CY) and national standards (GB), the quality standards of printed products include contracts signed by users. With regard to printing standards, other users of the society other than news publishing units do not fully understand it.

At present, a considerable part of the printing market is printed and printed by non-press and publishing companies. Their commissioned work processes are complex, require short construction periods, and are low in price. As a result, printing houses use inexpensive paper and raw and auxiliary materials to process printing products. Quality creates hidden dangers. On the other hand, the quality of first-line operators in printing workshops is uneven and there are more temporary workers. They have a short operating time and little experience. In addition, business personnel do not know much about the printing business and do not have adequate management. All caused the phenomenon of wrangling between the printing unit and the printing company. Therefore, to improve the quality of printed products, we must proceed from the following aspects:

First of all, standardize the implementation of management measures for the transfer of book printing before and after printing. Specifically, check the name, period number, bar code, advertisement number, copyright content, and whether the pricing is complete and consistent; check the cover, inserts, inner text, and proofs, and if the page order is correct. It is clear and correct, and the place where the change is required is clearly marked, and the signature, manuscript, sample book, and photo material are properly kept; the number of printed sheets, the open size, the cover, the insert, and the internal paper are also checked for correctness, and whether the insert is included. Whether the order position of the inserts and the front cover of the inserts, the binding method, the number of prints, the number of distributions, the distribution and distribution address, the packaging method, the contact person and the telephone number, and the date of the request for the publication date must be correct.

Second, we must strengthen the management of the production process. Under the premise of scrutinizing the contents of the construction order, the processing workshop should be familiar with the sample or sample, check the number of prints, check the printed sheets, and check the original quality, the open size, and the binding requirements. After the first print sample comes out, it is necessary to check whether the order is correct or not, whether the ink is positive or negative, whether it is missing or missing, and whether the rules, labels, and color marks are complete. . When multiple machines print a batch of products together, it is necessary to determine a standard ink color and rules as a benchmark. All fixed titles and page numbers must have the same period of time and the whole book is the same, and check whether the colors are the same, whether the colors of the joined pages are the same, and whether the colors of the pages between the printed sheets and the printed sheets are the same.

Finally, in the printing, we must also do “three services” and “four non-printing”. That is, we need to control the signature type, dilute the ink fountains, and diligently look at the surface of the page. The construction slips are not printed, the signatures are not printed, and the questions are not printed. Do not print clearly, knowing that there are problems with quality.

These quality management measures shall be distributed to all relevant personnel involved in the process, so that they will be carefully examined and checked one by one in the course of business negotiation handover, process auditing, and production operations. After a period of implementation, the production process has been streamlined and the quality of the products has been significantly improved. It has also been possible to check the customer's mistakes, help them to recover losses, gain the trust of customers, and create a good environment for printing companies' external business.

At present, with the continuous updating of the production and processing equipment of various printing companies, customers are more demanding on the quality of printed matter and the production cycle, which imposes higher requirements on the quality of skilled workers. In the case of relatively weak technical workers in various units, some effective management measures should be formulated according to local conditions so that front-line operators can carry out control operations. This can play a role in ensuring product quality.
