The accuracy of the manual Rockwell hardness tester has been calibrated before leaving the factory. If the error caused by the transportation process, the tester can make appropriate adjustments based on the structural principle of the manual Rockwell hardness tester. The specific method is as follows:
First, manual Rockwell hardness test
Open the upper cover and the back cover first, and check whether the rubber band on the extension rod is removed from the body. Check whether the weight on the boom is installed correctly. Observe whether the cylindrical pins on both sides of the weight are placed in the groove of the fork. Do not touch the inner wall of the fork when the weight is suspended. If none of the above occurs, adjust it as follows.
Second, manual Rockwell hardness tester adjustment
1. Remove the upper cover. If the measured value is lower than the standard hardness block, first fix the M4 screw with a screw, loosen the nut slightly, and screw the adjusting screw clockwise (turn a half turn, about 1 high hardness value) Degree), adjust the zero of the dial indicator, fix the screw and then tighten the nut. Test the indication again until it is within the specified tolerance. If the measured value is higher than the standard hardness value, turn the screw in the opposite direction.
2. If the measured value is lower than the quasi-hardness block, first fix the M4 screw with the screw piece, loosen the nut slightly, and rotate the M4 screw clockwise with the screw piece. (Note: When rotating the M4 screw, first clamp the nut with a wrench, rotate M4 The nut should remain stationary when the screw is used). Adjust the dial gauge to the zero position, fix the screw and tighten the nut. Test the indication again until it is within the specified tolerance. If the measured value is higher than the standard hardness value, the M4 screw is rotated in the opposite direction.
