The raw materials, namely paper and adhesives, of the paperboard, and the use of paper and adhesives in order to achieve a reasonable purpose, must pay attention to the following points, so that the quality of the paperboard produced can be further improved.

1. The use of paper must be correct. Do not do whatever you like. Paper cores made from papers with too low grammage have poor paperboard flatness, and papers with grammage exceeding 180 g/m2 cannot produce chips (pulling cannot be opened). The paper board made of low-weight glossy paper is exposed on the face of the bee hole on the glossy paper; the cost of the high-weight glossy paper is too high. Therefore, according to different packaging needs, the use of different papers not only saves costs, but also achieves the goal of ideal packaging.

2. Roll paper must meet the national standards in the decapitation should not exceed three. Too much paper breaks can cause disconnection in flow production and even a lot of scrap. Therefore, when ordering, it is required that the paper mill should take plastic tape from the end of the reel and mark it. In this way, even with a broken head, the loss can be minimized.

3. In the composite process of paper core paperboard, bubbles sometimes appear between the paper and the paper core. There are single-sided air bubbles and double-sided air bubbles. The main reason is due to the quality of facial paper, factors are as follows:

(1) The weight of the surface paper is too low, and the water vapor inside the beehive expands rapidly during gelatinization. The lower the grammage, the greater the deformation of the tissue paper. In some areas, even a small area is degummed. After cooling, a small area of ​​degumming is the bubble. phenomenon.

(2) When the temperature is too high during gelatinization, the expansion force of water vapor in the pores of some places is greater than the adhesive force of the adhesive, and air bubbles will appear in these places.

(3) The partial thickness of the facial tissue is uneven, and when the water vapor expands by heat, large deformation of the thin paper place causes degumming, and the degumming of the paperboard will have bubbles.

(4) Part of the wrinkles in the tissue paper roll. In the process of paperboard compounding, the wrinkled part is deformed when it is thermally expanded, and it is easy to degumming. After cooling it becomes a bubble.

(5) In the process of board assembly, when the four situations described above are encountered, sometimes the gravity of the board itself overcomes the expansion force of water vapor, so there is no air bubble below the board.

4. When formulating adhesives, care must be taken to account for changes in the climate and changes in the air temperature. There are seasonal changes in the climate, Jiangnan area in the winter water evaporation is slow, moisture is easy to dry in summer, rain and fog days, high humidity in the air, dry days, less water in the air. All kinds of honeycomb paperboard adhesives have their own formulas. If they do not comply with the changes of cold and heat, rain and sunshine, the formulated adhesive will inevitably affect the adhesive strength of the paperboard. As for how to change the formula, according to the specific conditions of various adhesives, find out the rules in practice, and master the most suitable formula to produce high-quality paper.

When the adhesive is stirred evenly according to the formula, it will not be diluted with water when the time is slightly longer. When the water destroys the original structure, the adhesive will reduce the adhesive strength, and the cardboard will be degummed and scrapped during production. In addition, the amount of glue used each day must be estimated correctly, and it is best to use it on the day of preparation.
