I. Quality Requirements for Pervious Base
The quality requirements of the water-permeable base layer are as follows.
Appearance
a. The surface is flat, solid, tightly caulked, and there is no loose surface;
b. Rolling with 12t steel roller, the depth of wheel trace must not exceed 5mm;
c. There is no soft-slurry section.
2. The allowable deviations are shown in Table 1.

Note: The standard mass density can be measured using Marshall Stabilizer or 30 MPa (300 kg/cm2) pressure forming method.
II. Quality requirements for gravel substrate
After the permeable gravel substrate has been roller compacted, the surface should be solid and smooth, and the caulking material must not float on the surface or accumulate to form a layer. After being rolled by a roller over 12t, the wheel track shall not be larger than 5mm, and the quality of the gravel bottom substrate See Table 2 for requirements.
