In China's packaging industry, electroplating barrels occupy a large market, and the promotion of Dacromet technology has laid a solid foundation for the development of China's steel barrel packaging industry.

First, the development history of Dacromet technology

Dacromet originated from the American Ocean Company, which developed rapidly without polluting the environment and other excellent features. In the 1970s, NDS Corporation of Japan bought out the Dacromet technology use right in the Asia-Pacific region from MCII Company of the United States, and quickly developed more than 100 coating production lines in its country. In the early 1990s, several Dacromet production lines were introduced in China. The introduced production lines were distributed in Tianjin, Nanjing and Shanghai. With the strengthening of people's awareness of environmental protection, Dacromet's new technology has been welcomed by the society. In recent years, The Dacromet coating line is growing at a rate of 30% to 50% per year, and has now reached more than 40 in the country. This development will continue. At present, in the domestic steel drum packaging industry, the application of Dacromet technology is still in its infancy and needs further development.

Second, Dacromet technology requirements for the surface treatment of steel drums

The steel drum must be clean and dry before it can be coated with Dacromet. Usually the steel drum is cleaned and chemically pretreated to remove oil and dirt from the surface of the steel drum and then dried in an oven. Of course, Dacromet-coated steel drums must be heat cured or cured by a combination of ultra-far infrared and heaters.

Therefore, Dacromet's painting is somewhat similar to the pre-coating requirements of China's steel drum paint coating, and the drying process is the same, which provides a prerequisite for the application of this technology in steel drum production.

Third, Dacromet technology coatings

Dacromet coatings can be divided into two basic types: chromium-containing Dacromet coatings and chromium-free Dacromet coatings. Currently popular in the domestic market is the chromium-containing Dacromet coating liquid. In foreign countries, with the increasing awareness of environmental protection, no chromium bismuth has become a trend, and non-chrome coatings are beginning to become popular. In Japan, there are The chrome-free Dacromet surface treatments V505 and V872 are sold in some parts better than the chrome-drained Dacromet.

Chromium-containing Dacromet (zinc-chromium) coating with a uniform silver-gray appearance. The coating contains 80% zinc and aluminum and the rest is chromate. According to the need, some PTFE resin with anti-friction effect is added, and the content is about 4.5%. The Dacromet coating is baked from Dacromet coating at a temperature of around 300 °C. Now in the electro-galvanizing industry, more and more people know about the technology of zinc-chromium film (Dacro), and the general zinc-chromium film (Dacro) is produced by the manufacturer. The proportion of the coating liquid in the whole production is very large. In order to reduce the production cost, many manufacturers have prepared their own coating liquid. Although the ingredients and proportions of different households are different, the overall content is the same. The main ingredients are also the same.
