The impregnation and drying of various base papers is a key process in the manufacture of decorative panels. The base paper must be fully and uniformly impregnated with the resin liquid to achieve the required resin content. After the glue is impregnated, the solvent and some volatiles are removed by a drying device to reduce the polycondensation of the resin. To a certain extent, a part of the volatile matter remains to ensure sufficient flow of the impregnated paper during the hot pressing process when the resin is in a molten state.
After the various base papers are immersed and dried, they are sealed with a plastic film and stored in a constant temperature and humidity environment. The temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius and the humidity is about 50-60%. And heating and pressurizing in a hot press, the general heating temperature is 135-150 degrees Celsius, in order to obtain a good surface gloss, cold-hot-cold hot pressing process can be used, that is, the hot plate temperature is low when the slab enters the press At 50 degrees Celsius, to prevent partial curing of the resin, then heat up and pressurize, before the pressure is relieved, the hot pressing temperature should be lowered, and the pressure can be lowered to 50 degrees Celsius to open the hot plate. The use pressure is about 6-8 MPa. After being pressed into a plate, the edge is trimmed on the vertical and horizontal trimming machine, and then sanded on the back of the decorative plate. It is produced into a melamine resin decorative board.
