The Human Phosphatidylserine (PS) ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of phosphatidylserine in human biological samples. The assay is based on a double-antibody one-step sandwich ELISA method. Microtiter plates are pre-coated with specific antibodies against phosphatidylserine. After adding the sample, standard, and HRP-conjugated detection antibody sequentially, the plate is washed to remove unbound components.
A TMB (3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine) substrate is then added, which reacts with the peroxidase enzyme linked to the detection antibody. Under the catalytic action of the enzyme, TMB turns blue, and the reaction is stopped by adding an acidic solution, resulting in a yellow color. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the concentration of phosphatidylserine in the sample.
The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader. By comparing the OD values of the samples with those of the standard curve, the exact concentration of phosphatidylserine can be determined. This method ensures high specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility, making it suitable for research and diagnostic applications.
