The Importance of Normative Operation in Printing Skills Contest

The printing skill contest is divided into two parts, one is theoretical assessment and the other is operational skills. It is very important to operate skills in these two parts. Whether or not to win in operational skills depends on whether the operation is normative.

Printing skills competition can best reflect the normative operation is: deployment of complex color ink, and the other is to print the printed matter in accordance with the printed sample within a specified time.

The deployment of complex color inks is based on the player's hands-on ability to test his understanding of the printing chromatics knowledge. When the ink, doctor blade, transfer paper (board) and other materials are ready, the normative operation sequence should be:

Analyze the color sample → select the ink → determine the required ink amount → pick out the ink → dispense → apply and scrape the ink → contrast → correct it successively → cut out the ink sample → paste it next to the color sample → complete

It is not enough for players to understand the operation sequence, but also to work hard with speed and accuracy.

Prints prints that meet the prints within the specified time. The first step is to analyze the printed samples, observe the plates, and determine the amount of ink on the plates; the second step is to accurately mount the plates; the third step is to give water and ink; the fourth step is to print... In this series of operations, normative operations are very important, because normative operations can reduce auxiliary time and accurately adjust the ink-water balance. Not only this, but also raw and auxiliary materials can be saved. Moreover, it can be printed within the specified time. Qualified prints.

In the first printing skills contest in 2008, I was in a local proctor-in-chief. I rarely saw the contestants able to complete the content of the above two skills competitions in a standardized manner. I hope this competition can be improved.

Normative operations are achieved through repeated practice in practice. I feel very profound about this. The reason is that I was the captain of an offset printing machine when I was young. This time, the “Lithographer • The Second Book”, which I co-edited with Mr. Chen Hong, specifically touched upon this point in the section on Operational Training. I now record it as a guide for instructors and players.

1) The steps to operate training

Operational training is the most important link in technical training. Therefore, in the course of operation and training, knowledge related to operating skills should be discussed in order to better complete training activities. The formation of operational skills is the process of gradually mastering certain operations through practice. Usually, it can be divided into three steps, namely, cognition, imitation, and proficiency.

(1) Cognition

The purpose of cognition is to make learners have a preliminary understanding of the operating skills they have learned. Their main task is to form a directed operational impression based on the basic requirements of skills.

(2) Imitation

Imitation is a special form of learning. It refers to emulating the mode of operation or behavior of the demonstrator and reproducing the behavior or behavior of the demonstrator. Imitation is the premise necessary for the operation impression formed in the previous stage, and is performed under the guidance and adjustment of the operation impression. The main task of this stage is to connect individual operations after repeated practice.

(3) Skilled

Skills are based on the first two steps. Through rigorous exercises, the operator's skills are up to standard, familiar and highly adaptable. Special emphasis is: this exercise is a purposeful, step-by-step, guided interactive teaching activity.
