Among the larger manufacturers are Shanghai Fanshun Industrial Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Yueyang Plastic Containers. Since large hollow container manufacturing equipment is much more demanding than conventional small blow molding machinery, in addition to having a stock head, it also has the function of controlling parisons with high precision, so early large blow molding machinery in China was Imported abroad. For example, China's earliest production of 200L closed plastic barrels and lined barrels was imported from Germany's Bekum Company, followed by the introduction of a 200L L-ring plastic barrel production line. Qilu Petrochemical and Jinling Petrochemical Plastics Factory introduced the BM-201 blow molding machine from Germany Mauser Company to produce 200L self-supporting L-shaped closed rigid plastic buckets for international general dangerous goods and transportation packaging. In 1993, Qinchuan Machine Tool Factory designed and manufactured the first domestic large-scale blow molding machine and put it into operation at Jiangsu Wujiang Qingyun Plastics Factory, achieving good results. Subsequently, several companies cooperated with German and Taiwanese manufacturers. And the joint venture production of large and medium-sized blow molding machines, such as Guangdong Jinming Plastics Equipment Co., Ltd. using foreign technology to launch a volume up to 230L barrels blow molding machine.
